Common questions.

What's the difference between peer-reviewed and preprints?
Peer-reviewed studies have been formally reviewed by other scientists before publication — the established standard. Preprints are papers researchers share before that review, often 6–18 months earlier. Pro includes both, clearly labeled so you can weigh them yourself. Free uses peer-reviewed only.
What counts as a message?
Each message you send to the chat. Widgets, workout plans, and citations that Emersus generates back don't count — only your prompts do.
What happens when I hit the Free limit?
You'll see a notice in the chat and the composer pauses until midnight UTC. You can upgrade at any time and the new limit applies immediately.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account in two clicks. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Is there a student discount?
Not yet. If you're a full-time student and the price is a blocker, email info@emersus.ai and we'll work something out.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your chats are used to run the app and improve your own experience. We don't sell data and we don't send it to third parties for training.
Can I get a refund?
If you're unhappy within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we'll refund you. No questions.
